WHAT IS THE DUI PROCESS IN GORGIA?

In GA, the process for DUI’s differs depending on the circumstances of the case but a general DUI process proceeds as follows: getting arrested, posting bail, hiring a lawyer, attending Georgia ALS hearings within 30 days, filing and reviewing discovery motions, attending motion hearings, participating in pre-trial conferences, negotiating a plea bargain with the prosecutor, undergoing a trial by judge or jury, facing DUI penalties, and the possibility of appeal.
