WHAT IS GEORGIA’S RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERSHIP LAW?

Georgia’s Responsible Dog Ownership Law was enacted in 2012 to promote responsible dog ownership and ensure public safety. Under this law, owners must provide their pets with adequate food, water, shelter, and medical care. Owners must also keep their dogs on a leash or in a secure enclosure when outside.
